In Conclusion of Its Training Camp
Dubai / Thursday, March 8th, 2018: UAE U-19 National Team lost its second friendly game played yesterday in Dubai nil – 1 to Morocco. The match was staged within the preparatory program for AFC U-19 Championship 2018 Indonesia. The only goal of the match was scored by the Moroccan player Othman Bashco at minute 70.
The game was witnessed by HE Marwan bin Ghalita, UAE FA President; HE Abdulla Nasser Al Juneibi, Vice President, Chairman of Professional League Committee and Chairman of National Teams and Technical Affairs Committee; Obaid Mubarak, Technical Director and Hassan Al Jassmi, UAE FA Official Spokesperson.
Head of Training Centers, Rashid Amer pointed out that the two friendlies were beneficial as UAE played versus one of the strongest opponent in Africa. It was very valuable opportunities for exploring the abilities of players, he added.
For his part, Morocco Team Manager, Al Mustafa Al Madeih said that both teams got benefits from the games, particularly for our team which will participate in CAN 2019 Qualifiers.
He extended his thanks to UAE FA for providing all means of success for our camp in Dubai and added that the players did not face any difficulties during their stay in UAE.
It is worth mentioning that UAE had lost its first friendly held within the same training camp last Saturday to Morocco nil – 1.
