Dubai / Friday May 25, 2012: Director of the AFC Referees Department Yoshimi Ogawa visited the FA premises in Dubai during a work trip to the UAE on Thursday. The AFC top officials met Mohammed Omer Al Shamri, chairman of the referees committee at the UAEFA and a number of referees.
Ogawa attended on Friday afternoon the opening of the 2012 AFC Futsal Championship scheduled in the UAE from May 35 to June 1 with 26 teams in the fray.
The AFC referees chief was briefed by Omer Al Bishtawi, technical manager of the referees committee about the work mechanism in the UAEFA Referees Committee and praised the strong progress which has been achieved.
