Dubai/ April 12, 2012: HE Yousuf Yaqoub Al Serkal, chairman of the interim committee of the UAEFA announced the cancellation of the UAE football friendly against Iran scheduled on Tuesday April 17, 2012 at the Fujairah Stadium as part of the preparations of the boys in white for the upcoming commitments.
The decision comes in line with the official stand of the UAE and the condemnation of the visit by the Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmedinejad to Abu Mosa Island which is occupied by Iran since 1971.
